Schools Cup
The Western Sydney Wanderers School’s Cup, powered by Abal Banking, is a community-based competition that encourages students to participate and play football in a friendly and supportive environment. We focus on good sportsmanship, healthy competition but most importantly having fun!
Program Outline
The Wanderer’s School’s Cup is run across Terms 2 and 3 of the school year. The Finals are held during the beginning of Term 3.
Schools enter the Wanderer’s Schools Cup through their regional competition and play a round-robin tournament to determine the regional winners. The top teams from the regional competitions progress into a Finals tournament at the Wanderer’s Football Park. The winning teams from the Finals competition are crowned the Wanderers Schools Cup Champions!
What's Included?
- Western Sydney Wanderers Ticketing offer for every registered student.
- Grand Final teams receive an additional one (1) free adult ticket per participant (two (2) complimentary tickets, one (1) x participant, one (1) x parent/guardian).
- Every team that registers for the Wanderers Schools Cup gets access to the Wanderers 5s for a full day during the school term at no cost
- The Finals will be hosted at Wanderers Football Park — the training ground for the Isuzu UTE A-League Men, Liberty A-League Women, and Wanderers Academy!
Dates and Locations
Primary (Years 5 & 6) Regional Gala Days for the Wanderers School’s Cup, will be held at the brand new Wanderers Fives Facility during Term 2 as a 5 v 5 competition.
Secondary (Years 7 & 8) Regional Gala Days for the Wanderers School’s Cup, will be held at Wanderers Football Park during Term 2.
The Finals Series will also be held at Wanderers Football Park over two days in Term 3.
