The Western Sydney Wanderers are calling on dedicated, hardworking fans and students who are available to assist in the operations at our Isuzu UTE A-League Men and Liberty A-League Women match days played across season 2024/25.
What is the Wandercrew?
The Wandercrew was developed in 2012/13 to ensure our Red & Black members and fans have the best possible experience at home matches whilst offering assistance to key Wanderers match day departments.
Since its inception, the Wandercrew has continued to grow with more than 100 volunteers now supporting the Western Sydney Wanderers.
We are looking to create a bigger Wandercrew for the 2023/24 season.
For students currently studying sports management, this is the perfect opportunity to gain some valuable industry experience.

- Ball Kids | The kids are there to assist the repositioning of the match balls in their correct positions during game play. They will be charged with collecting any balls that are kicked into the stadium bowl and ensuring the that the ball is repositioned.
- Stretcher Bearer | Required to act as the stretcher bearers for both teams and match officials during warm up and match play.
- Flag Bearer | Required to assist on match days by walking out the Wanderers ceremonial flag before each match.
- Player Mascot | Coordinate, set-up and organise the Player Mascots for player walk out.
- Half-Time Heroes | Required to assist the setup and organisation of the Half-Time Heroes participants for their on-field activities.
- Mascot Assistant | Guide our mascots through the stadium precinct and on-field.
- Media Assistant | Assist on match days in the photographer’s working room.
- Member & Fan Activations | Positioned to welcome members and fans to the venue and in various places within the venue. They will be tasked with the handing out of match day flyers or giveaways or see to member needs. This will include working in various activations, including Membership Stall, Member's Bar and hosting in the legends lounge. If you are part of this Team, you must be willing to accept any of the roles within this team.
- WanderKid Assistant | Welcoming members and fans into the WanderKid Zone. They will be tasked with the handing out of match day flyers or giveaways or see to member needs and participate in activations.
