The Schools Cup, powered by Abal Banking, is a community-based competition that encourages students to participate and play football in a friendly and supportive environment.
We focus on good sportsmanship, healthy competition but most importantly, having fun!
The School’s Cup is run across Terms 2 and 3 of the school year. The Finals are held during Term 3.
Schools enter the Schools Cup through their regional competition and play a round-robin tournament to determine the regional winners. The top teams from the regional competitions progress into a Finals tournament at the Wanderers Football Park.
The winning teams from the Finals competition are crowned the Schools Cup Champions!
Cost to enter is $100 per team, with each school allowed to enter up to two (2) teams per division.
Teams that withdraw within two weeks of the event date will still be invoiced for their team submission.

All Wanderers Schools Cup days for Primary & Secondary divisions will be held at the brand new Wanderers Fives Facility during Term 2 & Term 3 as a 5 v 5 competition.
The Finals Series will also be held at Wanderers Fives in Term 3.
