Keen on getting yourself football fit this summer? Join our new Football Boot Camp this January.

The Wanderers Football Boot Camp focuses on high-intensity training alongside a structured session plan with interactive sessions, that assists in healthy living over a three week period.


Hosted at the newly built Wanderers Fives, the program has been designed and will be delivered by experienced Academy coaches with a focus on high-intensity training and healthy living.

There are some great benefits for taking part in the Wanderers Football Boot Camp including:

  • A three week program focused on encouraging participants over the age of 16 to improve physical health and wellbeing through a series of weekly education and exercise sessions
  • A tailored training program, which includes functional training, cardio and exercises with football at its core
  • Participation in a program tailored towards an active lifestyle in an outdoor environment
  • Sessions run by qualified and well experienced coaches who are well versed in adapting to the various needs of participation

The Wanderers Football Boot Camp will be run through the month of January, with two sessions a week, hosted on every Tuesday and Thursday night at 7:30 PM*.

*Sessions will be hosted at the Wanderers Fives on the 9th, 11th, 16th, 18th, 23rd and 25th January at 7:30 PM

Who are the Coaches?

Via experienced Wanderers Academy coaching staff, the objective is to educate, train and build a strong fitness lifestyle during Summer and at the start of the year, to create a foundation for a healthy lifestyle.

Geoff Abrahams

Our Lead Community Coach, Geoff, has over twenty years experience coaching elite football teams. Geoff has coached and mentored a number of current Socceroos, Olyroos, Young Socceroos and Joeys.

Geoff has six years coaching experience with the Wanderers and has won a number of titles as coach of various youth teams at the club.

Importantly, Geoff has worked in building an athlete through various strength exercises and fitness development.

Peter Kofinas

Currently our A-League Women Assistant Coach, Peter has extensive experience coaching men and women across different levels of the game.

Peter has over six years coaching experience with the Wanderers and prides himself on learning about the player and how they can better themselves within the sport.

Throughout Peter’s career, strength and agility training has been key pillars to his learning approach.


The Wanderers Football Boot Camp costs only $200. That’s a cost of only $33 per session.
